As an experimental filmmaker I investigate theatrical experiences that lure the viewer into a perceptual and intimate world where they can participate in the act of seeing. I use sound and lighting to entice them to move from a conscious level of looking to a more unconscious level where they can project elements of their own memories desires and fears onto what they see.
Graduated from Cambridge School of Art in 2004.
Winner of the American Express Award.
Short listed for the Jerwood Artist Moving Image Award.
Exhibited nationally and internationally, screened in galleries and cinemas and festivals; Cambridge Film Festival; Whitechapel Gallery; Wall Space Gallery, London; Ruskin Gallery, Cambridge; Babylon Gallery, Ely; Hat factory, Luton.
Founder member of Neuf, a group of experimental filmakers in Cambridge that meets regularly at the Arts Picturehouse to exchange ideas and work on collaborative projects.
